Frequently Asked Questions

1. How wide are Eclipse fence sections and how much do they weigh?
   Eclipse fence sections are 6' wide, measured center on center. They can be cut down if needed. The 6' high sections weigh 99 lbs., not counting posts.
    

2. Are the posts included with the fence panels? Posts are are sold separately.
    

3. What size are Eclipse posts? Posts are available in 3" and 4" square and include post caps.
    

4. What are the differences between line, end, corner, and blank posts? The type of post is determined by the routing holes where the rails are inserted. Typically, line posts have holes in opposite sides, end posts have holes in one side only, corner posts have holes in two adjacent sides, and blank posts have no holes at all. A blank post would normally be used as a gate latch post against a house or column.
    

5. What colors are available? The colors offered in our price and ordering section is for the "standard" colors which consist of black, white, bronze, beige, and forest green. Satin colors are also available but not cartable. Please call to order these colors. They consist of satin black, satin white, satin bronze, and satin khaki.
    

6. Are the sections shipped assembled? No, the sections are boxed as individual pieces that will need assembled during installation. Gates are an exception, they are welded and ready to mount.
    

7. Is the hardware included with the Gates? No, hinges and latch are sold individually. Many customers prefer to have a choice of gate hardware.
    

8. Do the gates match the fence panels? Gates match the panels with the exception of the gate uprights which measure 2-1/2" where the fence posts measure either 3" or 4". Gates can be custom ordered with matching uprights if needed.
    

9. How long is the warranty on the Eclipse fence? Ultra Manufacturing warrants the product for life against defects in workmanship and/or materials. The Powercoat™ finish is unconditionally guaranteed for life against cracking, peeling, or chipping. Please see our "warranty" link on the left side menu for more information.
    

10. How long does it take to receive an order once it is placed? Ultra manufacturing usually can deliver an Eclipse order within a week. Delivery times may vary depending on the time of year the order is places.
