Question #18:
Are posts pre-drilled to accept the connectors?
Answer:
No they aren't. Newel posts have no holes drilled in them. The
connectors use #10 x 3/4" stainless steel self-drilling screws to fasten the
connector to the post. No pre-drilling is required. Using a cordless drill to drive the
screws makes the job easier. The screws are supplied with the connectors.
