How high should I install the railing from the floor?
Answer:
The railing can be mounted any distance from the floor using the
proper connectors to attach the rail section to the posts. Be sure to know your local
codes that may require a certain distance to be maintained. Normally, the railing is
installed to leave either 2" or 4" between the bottom rail and the floor.
