Chain Link Aluminum Tie Wires

Chain link ties are used to secure chain link fabric to posts and horizontal rails. 6 gauge aluminum chain link fence ties are for heavier duty applications than our 9 gauge ties. Use steel ties for the heaviest of chain link applications.
Order 2" ties for 2" pipe (1-7/8" O.D. actual), 2 1/2" ties for 2 1/2" pipe (2-3/8" O.D. actual), and so forth. 1 5/8" ties are typically used for 1 3/8" pipe. Use the same amount of ties per post as tension bands per hook-up. This is typically one less than the height of fence installed; a 4' high fence has three tie wires per line post spaced evenly, a 5' high fence has four tie wires per line post and so forth. Top rail usually has five ties wires between each line post, averaging one tie every two feet. Ties are sold in bags of 100.
