Chain Link Tie Wires
9 Ga. Galvanized Steel
Class III - 1.2 Oz.
Chain link steel ties are used to secure chain link fabric to posts and horizontal rails. Use these 9 gauge galvanized steel class III 1.2 oz. ties in some of the heaviest duty applications. Order 2" ties for 2" pipe (1-7/8" O.D. actual), 2-1/2" ties for 2-1/2" pipe (2-3/8" O.D. actual), and so forth. 1-5/8" ties are typically used for 1-3/8" pipe. Use the same amount of ties per post as tension bands per hook-up. This is typically one less than the height of fence installed; a 4' high fence has three tie wires per line post spaced evenly, a 5' high fence has four tie wires per line post and so forth. Top rail usually has five ties wires between each line post, averaging one tie every two feet. Ties are sold in bags of 100.
