Overhead Slide Gate Fittings And Beams
Overhead gates are not as popular as cantilever gates or internal track aluminum gates, however they are still popular for commercial facilities. A heavy duty galvanized I-beam, 4" x 6", is installed horizontally between two or more posts. Trolleys are installed on the I-beam, the gate is bolted with U-bolts or attached to the trolley and hangs to the ground. Gate may also be connected to slide gate trolleys by bolts or welding. Overhead chain link gates can be impressive once installed and have been a favorite amongst manufacturing and industrial facilities.
