Adjustable Gate J-Bolt
Male Hinges and Lag Screws for Residential Gates

Use for mounting residential and industrial gates. Typically two are
required per gate; use three on larger gates. J-Bolt male hinges can be installed on
steel, wood, and aluminum posts. Use on square or round posts. Simply drill
clear through the post and bolt on. Nuts allow for adjustment for a tight fitting gate.
Use this fitting with any of the female hinges found on page 16. Below pictures feature the 4-1/2" male J-bolt with
female hinges and the 10" J-Bolt by itself.

Use lag screw male hinges for wood posts only. Simply drill a pilot hole and twist lag screw hinge into place. These are used quite frequently on farm style gates. Hinge can be adjusted for a tight fitting gate.
