 Model 1601 & 1602 Parking
Gate OperatorModels 1601 and 1602 parking
gate operators use all solid state microprocessor control boards to eliminate the
troublesome relays and limit switches. Magnets mounted on the output shaft activate a
magnetic sensor providing unique non-mechanical maintenance free limits. These operators
were designed so that all the electronics are mounted high in the cabinet to protect from
possible water damage. The motor and gear box are mounted low so that the operator is not
top heavy. Units available with battery backup drive system to automatically raise
the arm during a power outage. The 1601 operator can be ordered with a wood, plastic,
or aluminum arm. Folding arm kits are available for both the wood and plastic
arms. The 1602 operator uses a wishbone style wood arm. For extreme climatic
conditions (hot or cold), fan and heater kits are available. The Gate Tracker™
output allows the 1601 and 1602 operators to communicate with an 1835 or 1838 access system to
generate gate operator activity reports. Traffic
Spikes are also available to control one way traffic. Control board accepts many
optional control devices available in the Entry Control
