GateGuard™ Long Range Wireless Intercom/Callbox and Remote Control System

The GateGuard system provides long range, (measured in miles not feet), 2-way voice communication and remote gate control from a Ritron 2-way radio to any number of OutPost callboxes located at your facility. KEEP GATED AREAS SECURE! Communicate with visitors from anywhere on the premises before opening the gate remotely with a Ritron portable radio or desktop base station. The Basic Ritron GateGuard system consists of a rugged, wireless intercom/callbox, a Ritron hand-held portable radio, and a stationary desktop base station. Other components such as extra callboxes and portable radios can be added.

How the GateGuard System Works:

1.	Visitor/delivery person arrives at secured gate area.
2.	Visitor/delivery person activates OutPost wireless intercom/callbox to announce their arrival.
3.	Call from gate is received via radio by facility personnel. Using a Ritron portable radio or desktop base station, authorized personnel can communicate remotely with individual at gate and transmit a security code back to the OutPost wireless intercom/callbox to activate gate controller.
4.	Security code is received by the OutPost wireless callbox. The built-in GateGuard feature activates the "attached" gate controller. The gate opens allowing approved visitors to enter facility.

System Components:

	RQX-156-XT OutPost Long Range Wireless Intercom/Callbox Features: Tamper resistant enclosure with stainless steel face plate, measures 11.5"H x 9.5"W x 4"D Built-in external power/battery back-up kit with 12 VDC transformer (RPS-EXPO transformer included when purchasing kit, sold separately if purchasing the callbox only) The OutPost can be powered with 6 rechargeable D-cell Alkaline or Ni-Cd batteries only, or alternatively, with external 12 VDC power supply, batteries can be used as a back-up in case of power outage when using transformer power When used with battery power, the system is programmed to go into "sleep-mode" to preserve battery life, wakes up when button is pushed at OutPost station - batteries good for one year or up to 1,000 transmissions When used with transformer power (requires 110 VAC available at the gate) the OutPost is programmed so intercom is always on Low battery alert Works with 12 VDC operator systems only Current draw: Standby mode - 80mA, Receiving a call - 200mA, Transmitting - 500-600mA 1 channel, 1 watt transmitter Pre-programmed for your specific needs, also field programmable for some features Line of site range up to 1 mile with included antenna Simple push-to-talk operation, two-way voice communication to remote radio or base station Feature rich, too numerous to list here (see manual link below) Reliable integrated RF design 1 year manufacturer's warranty Designed, manufactured, and serviced in the USA Manual
