This wireless phone system has
redefined the way residential telephone entry systems are installed.
Simply mount the sending unit at the gate and the receiver on the house
in line of sight to the gate, no long distance wire runs needed. The AAS
PhoneAire system is 100% solar compatible with a 150 mA power
consumption rating at rest. The gate unit (sender) is powered by 12 VAC
or VDC and the house unit (receiver) is powered by 12 VAC and the two
units communicate using a clear, 2.4 GHz, digital wireless communication
signal. (Draws 150 mA at rest)
The American Access Systems
PhoneAire is a fully digital, wireless telephone entry system. The
transmitter is constructed using a heavy gauge, powder coated enclosure
and stainless steel faceplate that mounts directly to a pedestal or can
be surface mounted. The PhoneAire's receiver is mounted in a standard
rain-tight enclosure with a baked enamel finish and mounts directly to
the side of the home or main building. Unit has a 2000' range, and
requires line of sight from gate to building.
The PhoneAire allows the user to
conveniently screen entrants from the home or office using "AAS - Push
to Talk" communication. When a guest presses the call button a unique
ring cadence alerts someone that a guest is present at the gate.
Communication is made from any phone on that line and access is granted
by pressing the ** on the telephone's keypad. The gate can also be
opened from inside the building without somone present at the gate. This
system features a "one-shot" code, which enables the user to safely give
out a code for one time use only.
