GTO now offers an electromagnetic gate lock for added security. The R1200 gate lock has a holding force of 1200 lbs to keep your gate securely locked until activated with your access device. Unlike most competitors locks, the R1200 comes complete with adjustable L-Z brackets to simplify installation on either swinging or sliding gates. Although these brackets will make the R1200 work with nearly all applications, due to the wide diversity of gate designs, custom mounting brackets may be necessary to facilitate the installation. The lock is mounted to the vertical gate post. The armature is mounted to the  leading edge of the gate. See the manual below for more information. This lock will work on any system utilizing a NORMALLY CLOSED contact terminal on a 12-24 volt DC powered control board.

Note: GTO's AC GP-Series (GP-SW050 and GP-SL050) operators are magnetic lock ready with a NORMALLY CLOSED contact lock terminal. GTO's low voltage operators (PRO2000XL and PRO4000XL) do not have a NORMALLY CLOSED contact lock terminal and will require the addition of the NORMALLY OPEN contact relay below (R4407).
