Effective March 2011, the Locinox Verticlose now comes
equipped with a gate stop. Gate stop must be installed to prevent gate from opening more
than 100 degrees. |

This closer will “let go” the
last 5 degrees of the swing and effectively slam some gates. Locinox has
confirmed that this feature was engineered into the closer deliberately
in order to engage whatever latch they might be using. This feature can
not be disabled or changed with any amount of adjusting. Most customers
do not object to this. |
