Index Heavy Duty Commercial Aluminum Hinge NW216 As with most quality hardware designed for use with aluminum, vinyl, wrought iron, and ornamental steel gates, these hinges connect to hinge post on two adjacent sides of the post. These commercial hinges strap around three sides of a 2" gate upright making the fit extra strong. Can also accommodate a 1" gate frame. Uniquely designed, these hinges place the pivot point of the hinge on the corner of the hinge post and allow for 180 degrees of movement. This hinge allows the gate to mount flush to the face of the gate post. Hinge plate that usually connects to gate post may be sheared or cut off to mount the gate elsewhere on a post or on a masonry surface. Commercial grade aluminum hinges are ideal for automated gates. These hinges are designed for use on residential and industrial gates. Hinges have a marine grade powder coat finish and a stainless steel pin for a long lasting performance.
