Many of our clients have requested fence and accessories that meet BOCA pool codes. So we compiled an easy to navigate index to our line of fence and accessories especially designed to meet that code. We offer several styles of fence, as well as child-proof latches and self closing hinges for gates.
Most building codes require swimming pools to have self-closing and self latching gates around them. We've shopped for equipment that meet these codes, and they are listed below.
WARNING: Always check local building and zoning codes. Requirements can vary drastically. Local codes could require BOCA code compliance or not. They can be less stringent or more stringent. Height requirements can vary. It is impossible for us to know all local codes throughout the world. Always check for compliance with local codes before ordering or installing a fence. If a permit is required, obtain the permit before ordering your fence. We do not take responsibility for non-compliance.
Fence constructed with aluminum or vinyl are a perfect choice to surround your pool. The aluminum or vinyl construction eliminates rust, while its finish withstands the moisture and chemicals found in a pool environment. In addition, these pickets have less than 4" between them, so children cannot squeeze through.

Note: The above aluminum fence styles represent a portion of the styles that meet the pool code. The Jerith modified aluminum fence styles above meet the BOCA code. Jerith Residential aluminum styles #1-3 in a 6' height also meet the pool code. Jerith Regency aluminum fence styles # 50-55 all come in heights to meet this code.
