| H = Height, W = Width All picket castings on this page fit 1/2" sq. O.D. pickets and require welding or epoxy to attach to the steel pickets. The picket casting straddles the picket in the center of the picket placing each half of the casting in the space between the pickets on each side of the picket that the casting is attached to. Note the two or three welding tabs that are located in the centers of the picket castings. The finished appearance is that of two scrolls, one in each space. If you divide the width of the casting by two, that measurement represents the minimum amount of space required between each picket when designing your project. Also please note that castings can only be used on every other picket, since they fill two spaces. Many designs space castings further apart, but to fill every space, figure one casting for every other picket. Not for use on our aluminum ornamental fencing.
