slope, establishing sub-grades during new construction, and add packing clay. After
initial measurement, remove the gauge, reshape the mound, and reset in the same spot for
confirmation. The 8' aluminum gauge is marked every foot and includes a metal ruler for
measuring the slope. The built-in bubble level and adjustable support rod insures proper
