Digger The DG-186 Gibbs Digger combines
a single blade with hinge action that acts like a bucket to bring
loose soil to the surface. Features include blue steel scoop and
hinged components and a 6' long hardwood handle. The hardwood hinged
handle provides leverage to swivel the blade from its upright
cutting angle to the 90 degree angle used to lift the soil out of
the hole. Designed for medium to heavy commercial digging.
Recommended use is start a 10" diameter hole with a shovel and
then scoop out the soil and rocks with the digger to the desired
depth. The Gibbs Digger will keep the hole at a 10" diameter. Use a
spud bar to break up large rocks to save wear on the digger. Weighs
approximately 11-1/2 lbs.
