Deco Rails and Classic Curve Deco Rails

Changes have been made to the rails on our tongue and groove privacy fence styles. New sections will feature the "Classic Curve Deco Rails". When ordering replacements for fence that you already installed, care must be taken to order the correct rail style to match your existing fence. The information below will clarify the differences between the rail styles. Styles affected are the following: Chesterfield, Galveston, Huntington, Norfolk 1, and Westminster. Included are the Lattice and Accent styles of the Chesterfield, Galveston, and Norfolk 1 fence sections.

  • New for 2004, the new and improved "Classic Curve Deco Rails" now have the distinctive look of decorative crown molding.
  • Ribbed rails measure 2" x 6" including decorative channel section
  • Made for fence sections with 96-1/8" post centers
  • Larger decorative molding with more prominent shadow line
  • Pre-formed channel allows for fast and easy picket installation
  • Channel in rail for steel reinforcement enhances strength and durability
  • CLASSIC CURVE DECO RAILS WILL BE FEATURED ON THE ABOVE STYLES BEGINNING JANUARY 1ST 2004.

  • New for 2003, the "Deco Rails" have an upscale look with a decorative beaded detail
    (compare this to old style 1-1/2" x 5-1/2" ripped rail)
  • Ribbed rails measure 2" x 6" including decorative channel section
  • Made for fence sections with 96-1/8" post centers
  • Pickets are shorter than old style due to new deco rail design
  • Steel channels made to fit  2" x 6" rails
  • Pickets insert easier which makes for a quicker, easier installation
  • REPLACEMENT RAILS AVAILABLE ONLINE UNTIL SUPPLY IS EXHAUSTED, AFTER JANUARY 1ST 2004, CALL TO ORDER SECTIONS WITH OLD STYLE "DECO RAILS" TO MATCH EXISTING INSTALLED FENCE.

Pre- 2003 "Ripped Rails"
  • Old style "Ripped Rails" were simple square edged rails with "ripped" channel on one end
  • Ribbed rails measured 1-1/2" x 5-1/2"
  • Were made for fence sections with 89-1/8" post centers
  • Steel channels made to fit  1-1/2" x 5-1/2" rails
  • Difficult to insert pickets, made for longer installation times
  • THIS STYLE HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED AND IS NOT AVAILABLE
