Standard Post Deluxe Latch Set For Gates

latches are used on wood gates. Gate latches are available with a black finish. These
latch receivers lag screw into the latch post and accept the lever which is mounted on the
face of the wood gate. The mounting method make these latches some of the finest in
the industry. These unique professional grade latches are heavy duty and built to
last. Latches are versatile and may be locked from the inside by repositioning the
bolt. Latches may be locked from the face of the fence/ gate with a padlock. This
latch is available in a gate hardware set, or you may pair it
with a separate set of hinges. Latches are self-latching and are fitted with a spring
on the inside of the gate for a sure fit. Products are usually available for immediate

How they work:
The larger part (latch receiver) secures directly to the gate latch post. This piece will
secure in between the latch post and the actual gate upright. The latch bar secures to the
gate. When the gate is forced closed either manually or with a self-closer, the latch
lever hits the striker plate and lifts it up. The spring mounted on the opposite side of
the gate forces the striker plate down latching the gate. Latches are lockable from
the inside or outside of the gate with a padlock (padlock sold separately).
