The Rail Mount Bracket System for Oxford railing is an alternative mounting system. This system utilizes 4 x 4 treated wood posts instead of steel post supports. Blank posts are used instead of routed posts. The vinyl posts slip over the wood posts. The rails are attached to the posts with screws using "Rail Mount Brackets". The rail mount brackets provide a sturdy metal-to-wood system that also meets the National building code approved NER-605. Brackets are available for flat and stair applications. Brackets are also made to mount to round columns and 45 degree applications.
All brackets sold in 4 packs (2 Top Brackets & 2 Bottom Brackets) except for round column brackets which are sold in 2 packs (1 Top Bracket & 1 Bottom Bracket). Order 1 Kit per Section.
Flat Brackets - Most common bracket used for all horizontal flat applications.
Stair Brackets - Bracket used for stair applications. Bracket end touching post must be field cut to match stair angle.
45° Brackets - Bracket used to mount adjoining section to post at a 45° angle. Normally used for angled corners.
Column Brackets - Bracket used to mount section of railing to a round column. One size available for all applications. Minimum 8" round column.
