Hoover Fence Company fence material calculators are provided as a free courtesy to aid customers and sales staff in calculating fence materials and costs. We use these daily and are aware of some of their imperfections. We work on these on 'rain days' - when we're not slinging mud, or welding gates; please be patient as we work to strive for perfection in an imperfect fencing world. Hoover Fence Company accepts no responsibility for their accuracy. Errors and exceptions do exist. Larger gates may require larger posts. Post lengths may need to be shorter, or longer to account for grade changes, sidewalks, and other encumbrances. You also might need one of those thingy-majiggies. Standard gate hardware may need replaced with upgraded hardware. Manufacturers may revise their offerings, or something better might now be available which wasn't when we wrote the code. There are 100 things that can go wrong, 99 of which will. Please perform your own due diligence with fence material lists by preparing a hand sketch, an old coffee stained napkin will do. After all, you'll be installing, or looking at the fence for a long time. Still have questions? Call us toll free and our fence estimators, who do this for a living, will be happy to help you - also for free! We do not accept responsibility for them either. Ultimately, customers are responsible for ordering correct materials. To sum, we believe our fence material lists calculators are 'Pretty Darn Good, but not Perfect'. Please enjoy responsibly.
