Gate Closers

Professional grade gate closers not only close gates, but must be aesthetically pleasing, operate safely and reliably, and require little to no maintenance. We feature an assortment of different makes and models of gate closers to fit a vast array of pedestrian and pool gates. From ornamental aluminum and steel fences to vinyl, wood, and chain link gates, we carry a gate closer for all applications.

Many of these will install in addition to gate hinges already in place. Some of our gate closers are also self-closing hinges ideal for new construction, but also capable of retrofitting onto existing gates. When retrofitting, make sure the space allowances currently used are compatible with the new gate hardware to be installed. Many gate closers and self-closing hinges designed allow for some adjustability. Also pay attention to whether hardware mounts to face of gate and gate post, rear, or in-between the gate and the gate post. Effort is usually made to mount gates flush and straight with adjoining fence panels, however different thicknesses and different size components (gate uprights and gate hinge posts) will sometimes dictate other mounting methods.

When possible, order self-closing hinges, latches, and gate closers that allow for some adjustment. This is important when installed and also later during routine maintenance. Gates, fence, and hardware are all subject to expansion and contraction from heat and cold. Adjacent fence and fence post footers can also settle and shift. Last, consider stainless steel and aluminum gate hardware components for the longest lasting performance.
