Oxford Railing Post Support Kits for Deck/Wood Installation
The Standard Routed System for Oxford railing consists of steel post supports inside 4 x 4 vinyl posts. The top and bottom rails slip inside routed holes in the posts. The aluminum channels inside the top and bottom rails attach to the post supports making a sturdy metal-to-metal system that meets the National building code approved NER-605.

A. Secure rail to wall with wall mount brackets. Decorative bracket included.
B. Determine location of steel support post. Drill 1-7/8" hole through deck board. Clamp angle plate to deck joist. Check support post for plumb and square. Mark hole locations and drill 1/2" holes. Secure support post with four (4) 1/2" bolts.
IMPORTANT NOTE: All 4 bolt holes of angled plate must be attached to joist. Box in joist where required.
C. Install the EZ-Set Brackets over the steel support post. Next, slip the vinyl post over the assembled post support assembly
D. Intall the railing section and use the Rail Lock Bracket to secure the top rail inside of the post.
Important: Railing system must be installed per manufacturer's specifications.
