The Weatherized Electric Latch Retraction function is designed for entrance and exit doors with panic or fire exit hardware exposed to weather environments where remote unlocking, remote dogging, or access control is desired. This function refers to a feature where an electric signal electronically pulls back the latch or locking mechanism, allowing a gate or door to open without someone manually turning a handle or pushing the bar.
