The Safety Caps are designed for use with the older Regular Range MK2 Series TruClose Hinges from D&D Technologies. Once installed, they create a ramp that helps prevent people from using the hinge as a step.

Current versions of TruClose Series 3 Hinges use the Series 3 Safety Cap.
