The SureClose® EASY Hydraulic Gate Closer is a compact, heavy duty add-on hydraulic gate closer that is designed for both residential and commercial pedestrian gates. SureClose EASY is designed for new or existing gates using center mounted pivot or barrel hinges, and that have either a flat top or bottom rail available for mounting. The sleek and styling closer installs without specialty tools and is adjustable to accommodate hinge allowances of 2" to 4". The EASY is not a hinge as with other SureClose models so it can be used in many retrofit applications without the need to replace the current hinges.

To make sure this closer will work for you, your installation must meet the following requirements:
**CAUTION: A gate stop must be installed when using SF models. Gate must not be allowed to open past 90°. Doing so voids warranty.
CAUTION: When used on swimming pool gates, always consult local authorities for swimming pool codes.
Note: To be pool safe, closer cannot be used in conjuction with hinges that hold open at 90°. Hinges must also be spaced at least 36" apart (900 mm) so that they cannot be used as footholds by toddlers. Consult local codes for clarification.

Caution: Based on max gate size 72"H x 48"w (1.8m x 1.2m). For gates with greater HxW, or if conditions such as wind play a role, use a different model of SureClose hinge + closer combination with a higher self-closing weight rating.
