Surface Mount Detex Exit Bar with Alarm (D-6006-P)
D-6006 (36") or D-6008 (48") surface mount exit bars are used to provide free exit/egress to gates or doors with the added security of an alarm.
Features:

- Stainless steel latch mechanism.
- Includes Lockable cylinder (enables or disables audio alarm).
- Unit can not be locked in an open position.
- Black ABS covers on ends (available in black only).

Dogging Feature (Non-Fire Rated Units Only):
- Depress Push Pad
- While holding push pad down, turn key Clockwise (CW). Push pad should stay depressed. *Key can be removed after rotating back to horizontal position.
- Unit (Alarm) is now disarmed.

Note: Panic bars can be installed on vinyl gates but these products are heavy so you need to make sure that the vinyl gate has a robust internal frame, typically of aluminum. Our Bufftech vinyl fence gates are very strong and can easily accommodate a panic bar or other free egress hardware.
