Hazard lights are a general requirement for airfield projects, especially when construction is on or near active aircraft in low visibility conditions. Engineered with a slightly angled lens which directs light upward, the Airport Hazard Light draws special attention from both ground crews and pilots in elevated positions. Because the light is solar powered it is a cost effective and environmentally sound option for airport and other construction projects.
Designed to screw directly into the AR10x96 Low-Profile Barricade, this light also mounts easily to the AR24x96 Mid-Profile Barricade.
For the best battery life we recommend removing the battery and storing it separately from the hazard light when not in use. The charged light automatically turns on when ambient light falls below 60 lux, which typically occurs during evening civil twilight or inclement weather. The flashing variant (ARL-FL) maintains a 55 blink per minute rate when activated.
