Nantucket Island Bottom Post Skirts are available with patterns to match the Island Molding of our post caps. The addition of post trim at the bottom of the post adds the finishing touch to any wood railing project. Not only do the trims look great but they also hide any imperfections in the work. Sizes listed are for actual post size, trim opening is 1/8" larger than the post to allow natural swelling of the posts.

All of our products are produced from the finest grade of Redwood or Western Red Cedar and sold “natural”. Our wood products may be treated with a clear sealer to preserve the natural wood color while protecting them against the elements. The red cedar and redwood can be painted or stained as well.

Materials - Our quality Bottom Post Skirts are made from the best grade of clear, all heart, vertical-grain Cedar and Redwood. These wood types are best known for their durability in harsh environments, and their beauty.

Installation - Trim is shipped assembled on three sides with the fourth side to be assembled upon installation.

Sizes are offered to fit nearly any size post, between 3-1/2" up to full 10"

Product was just what I was looking for. Great craftsmanship. Delivery was very fast. My only problem is that I ordered 15 cedar post skirts and more than half of them after staining with Messmer natural stain are so dark that they do not match my deck. I will have to order more and hope for the best. However I have not contacted Hoover customer service yet. Could change to 5 stars.
