Copper Pineapple post tops are a great way to say ''Welcome''. Copper Post Caps are made of 100% copper. These heavy-duty copper caps have a rustic look (no dents but some small dings are normal) and a high gloss finish. These shiny post caps will weather naturally with time or the shine can be maintained for longer periods of time by polishing with a cleaner or treating with a sealer.
Copper Pineapple mounts directly onto a flat surface. This pineapple post top has a self threaded screw mounted to the bottom. Just pre-drill a hole and screw the base directly into the post top or flat railing. Measures approximately 4'' in diameter. We also offer the Polished Pineapple Caps with a Base (#JJ-CPP).

These caps are made from 100% copper and have no protective finish. They will tarnish over time and this is considered normal weathering. The final color varies and will depend on location and climate. Salt, moisture, sunlight, and orientation can and will affect color. In general, copper progresses from a natural salmon color to a series of russet browns and grays, and finally a blue-green or gray-green patina. Caps will vary in color as they weather, but eventually those variations will even out. This is part of the beauty and character of true copper caps. Fingerprints can leave marks on these caps so be careful handling. Copper will reach its full tarnish potential in approximately one year, again dependent on moisture and other factors.
