LMT Mercer Group's Joist Hangers are used to attach a 2" x 6" vinyl rails directly to the house or ledger board*. Hangers provide an extremely sturdy connection. Steel section attaches to the house, vinyl rail screws to the steel section, and vinyl trim slides tightly around the steel mount without use of fasteners providing a clean appealing appearance.
