Chain link gate rear wheels are support wheels used on residential, commercial, and industrial chain link fence projects. Our Malleable Rear Wheel is perfect for heavy duty rolling gates. Wheels are galvanized and include necessary bolt and nut for securing to rear wheel gate bracket. Wheel also features a zerk fitting (grease fitting) for added reliability. One, or multiple rear wheels, are used on chain link rolling gates. Size, weight, and design of gate will affect how many rear wheels to use. The 'leading edge,' or latch side, of rolling gates are supported either by single or double wheel carriers. The rear of the sliding gate rests on the rear wheels and 1-5/8" or 2" pipe track.

Replaced a cheaper wheel
Replaced a cheaper wheel. The fence and gate were installed two years ago. Just replaced the upper wheel to see how things go. So far the gate (20 ft.) roll's real easy. In fact, when closing the gate I have to slow it down because it roll's too easy.
Hoover Fence is the only place I know
Hoover Fence is the only place I know that provides industrial grade chain link rear wheels. These are machined, cast iron, one piece wheels with roller bearings and grease fittings. The only thing that might be lacking was when I transferred the lock washers from the old wheels. (Not really sure that was necessary.) Service on the order was simple, fast, and most of all, correct. I will be recommending Hoover Fence to my neighbors.
