Monitored T2-Series SensingEdge (MGO20-P)

The small profile of the T2-Series Monitored MGO20 Sensing Edge sensors allows for versatility to suit a wide variety of applications from motorized doors and gates to industrial safeguarding on plant equipment. This sensor features 3 sides of protection which make it perfect for swing and slide gates. When pressure is applied to the edge, an electrical signal is immediately sent to the operator (or any other electric component) which typically stops and reverses the movement.

Models have been tested as a recognized component to comply with the ANSI/UL325 Door, Drapery, Gate, Louver, and Window Operators and Systems standard. Minimal care is required for the SensingEdge™ since they are manufactured with only the most durable materials and the highest quality control standards.

Other applications include use along conveyor systems to detect operator reach in, below lifts to detect pinch points and on a wide variety of plant equipment where touch sensitive detection is desired. SensingEdges™ should be tested and examined at least once a month for cuts or punctures which could damage internal components. Check wiring to be sure connections are secure. When properly maintained, Miller Edge SensingEdges™ offer years of trouble-free operation.
