D&D Technologies’ SureClose® MK180 Hydraulic Gate Closer delivers powerful, controlled self-closing performance in a compact, low-profile design. Measuring only 7-1/2" (190 mm) tall, the MK180 provides smooth 180° hydraulic closing control without taking away from the appearance of the gate.

The MK180 features independently adjustable closing and latching speeds, allowing the gate to close smoothly before securely self-latching from approximately 20°. MotionKinetic™ fluid technology helps maintain consistent closing performance as temperatures change, making the closer suitable for coastal areas, commercial properties and other demanding environments.

The SureClose® MK180 is designed for aluminum, steel and ornamental iron gates weighing up to 330 lbs. (150 kg) when installed as a pair. Its screw-on design installs quickly, includes built-in gate adjustment and does not require a separate gate stop, helping reduce installation time and additional hardware costs.

The marine-grade matte black anodized finish provides excellent corrosion resistance for use in harsh or coastal environments. The MK180 is designed for square-frame gates and square posts measuring at least 2" (50 mm), with an ideal gate gap of approximately 3/5" to 4/5" (15–21 mm).

The MK180 is suitable for front gates, side gates, pedestrian gates, single and double driveway gates, pet gates, playground gates, public and commercial gates, security gates and privacy gates. It is designed for gates measuring approximately up to 4' wide x 6' high (1.2 m x 1.8 m).
