Aurora Deck Lighting Orion Low Voltage LED Lighting Post Caps

The Low Voltage LED Lighting Post Caps shown here provide the perfect finishing touch that changes the ordinary deck into an extraordinary one. These are great products giving the best in value and price. The lights are made of rust free aluminum and then powder coated for a long lasting finish. Lighting post caps are available in a wide assortment of colors, not all colors available in both sizes. Power is supplied by a transformer and low voltage wiring. The amount of post caps that can be used is determined by the transformer used. The bulbs are 1.6 Watt LED warm white light bulbs using much less wattage than previous incandescent light bulbs. All caps have one bulb. Post caps fit true 4x4 and 5x5 vinyl posts. Note about transformers and wiring: Transformer Recommendations - Make sure that the total wattage of the bulb does not exceed the wattage of the transformer. i.e. 15 caps x 1.6 watt bulbs = 24 watts. Requires minimum 24 watt transformer capability. Transformers are available in landscape department of hardware stores. Wiring Recommendations - Use 14 gauge cable for up to 150 ft, 12 gauge for up to 200 ft. (Low voltage cable available at most hardware stores)

Orion Low Voltage Post Caps are the first of Aurora's Deck Lights that uses a geometric shape in front of the glass creating a new element design. This new concept makes the Orion Light a beautiful accessory that adds another level of distinction regardless of the time of day. Made of solid cast aluminum, the Orion light and matching caps (see below) are designed for vinyl deck and fence posts that measure 4" and 5" square (if you need to fit a 3-1/2" square vinyl post, you can use the Orion cap made for a wood 4x4 which actually measures 3-1/2" - see our low voltage post caps for wood). The 4x4 cap measures 5-1/2"W x 6-1/8"H. The 5x5 cap measures 5-1/2"W x 7-1/8"H. Click here to see difference in sizes. Both sizes have one 1.6 watt LED warm light bulb.
