QUIK-ROK® is a chemically engineered hydraulic cement which when mixed with water forms a pourable mix who self-leveling characteristics make it an ideal grouting material. Controlled expansion enables QUIK-ROK® to develop "lock-in" adhesion which can withstand loads in excess of 10,000 psi. It is designed to set within 15 minutes, even in subfreezing temperatures, down to 20° F.

USES
As a Grout:
- Anchoring form ties for below-grade pours
- Anchoring some iron and aluminum railings - QUIK-ROK® is NOT to be used for balcony or other life safety structures!
- Setting and grouting precast structural columns
- Grouting parking meters, traffic signals, sign posts
- Precision grouting and leveling of heavy machinery
- Grouting of anchor bolts, dowels, etc.
As An Additive:
- Increasing set-time and compressive strength of Portland Cement

PACKAGING
QUIK-ROK® is supplied in 50 lb. pails.
EXTERIOR APPLICATION
Although QUIK-ROK® has excellent freeze-thaw resistance, when used in a "sleeve" designed anchoring system; QUIK-ROK® must be shaped (crowned) to allow for water "run-off" thus eliminating the possibility of freeze-thaw damage. On exterior surfaces, do not allow sleeve to act as water reservoir. Trowel a mound-like head to insure water drain-off. Constant exposure to large amounts of water may cause deterioration.
COVERAGE
One 50 lb. pail of QUIK-ROK® fills approximately 1/2 cubic foot.

TENSILE PULL-OUT STRENGTH

FREEZE-THAW RESISTANCE
Immersed in 4% Sodium Chloride solution and continually cycled within a temperature range of 8°F to 75°F, QUIK-ROK® passed 50 cycles.

MIXING
Mix clear water with QUIK-ROK® - approximately 1 part water to 2 -1/2 parts QUIK-ROK®, by volume. Stir until smooth, avoiding a watery mix. (Note: Excess water reduces strength, durability and increases set-time, as with any hydraulic cement.) Do not add addition amounts of water as mix begins to set!
Prepare only as much QUIK-ROK® as will be used in ten minutes.
As an additive: Substitute QUIK-ROK® for 15% to 50% of the cement content, mix thoroughly with sand and aggregate before adding water (approximately 5 to 10 gallons per 100 pounds of mix).
Do not add calcium chloride or any other type of concrete accelerator to QUIK-ROK®. Use warm water if a faster set is desired.
For best results a mechanical mixer is strongly advised.
