Stainless Steel Standard Post Latches (NW38308NUA)

Standard Post latches are now available in 304 series stainless steel! Latches are also powder coated for a long lasting finish. Use these latches on practically any type of gate or door, i.e. wood, aluminum, ornamental iron, and steel. The face of the gate and face of the latch post must be flush for proper fit. Latch will 'self-latch' if used in conjunction with a self-closing hinge or closer. Mounted at the correct height, these latches will meet the national BOCA pool code.

Since 2005 I have ordered five of these gate latches, two for my wood fence gates, two for a neighbors gates and the last one for my son's house gate. The are very well designed, constructed, and durable. Features I have found especially valuable for me include: 1. Reversible mounting (right or left handed installation). 2. Operates and locks on both sides of the gate. 3. Self-latching - Ensures the gate automatically latches when closed for safety and security. 4. Lockable with padlock. I have always wondered why many hardware stores and fence install and repair companies do not carry or use quality gate latches like offered by Hoover Fence.
