Chain Link Truss Rod Tightener (CL-TRT-38)

Chain link truss rods and truss rod tighteners are essential components for bracing and trussing chain link fences and gates. They help keep end, corner, and gate posts plumb under the tension of tightly stretched chain link fabric. On gates, they work similarly to a turnbuckle, keeping the gate square and preventing sag.

Applications:

Used with braces and trusses on chain link fences
Keeps posts plumb under fabric tension
Prevents gate sag and maintains gate alignment
Common for commercial and industrial chain link gates

Installation Notes:

On larger gates, the longer leg of the truss rod tightener is typically welded to the gate frame corner
The threaded end of the truss rod fits into the tightener for adjustment
The opposite loose end is cut to size and welded to the other gate frame corner
