One-Way Self-Closing Hinge

 These gravity type self-closing hinge sets for chain link
and tubular gates have many advantages. First, there are no springs to wear out as
found in many other self-closing hinge sets; these hinges close with the natural force of
gravity. When the gate opens, the bottom of the gate is forced upwards in a slight
angle, gravity pulls the gate back to the latched/ closed position. By raising the
lower portion of the hinge, you may adjust/ increase the force at which the gate will
close. The second advantage to these self-closing hinges is that when the gate opens,
it lifts slightly making these hinges an option with slight grade changes. This will
allow gate installations on hills, yet keep maintain a tight clearance when
closed. The amount these gates will lift will vary depending on many variables such
as the height of bottom hinge and the width of gate. They may compensate for a couple
inches of incline at best. Hinge sets include two hinge parts for gate post, 2 hinge
parts for gate frame, and all necessary bolts. Latches sold separately. Child Safety Latches or Magna-Latches
