Chain Link Fence Gate Butterfly Latches (CL-LATCH-BUTTERFLY)

Chain link butterfly latches will work with most chain link gate hinges, but are designed to compliment a self-closing set of hinges. Efficient and inexpensive, butterfly latches are convenient to use if you'd like your gate to self-latch behind you. Gate latch resembles a butterfly in shape with the tabs on the latch appearing like 'wings'. These 'wings' will lift automatically when they come in contact with the latch post and drop back down to latch in place. To open latch, simply lift wing and open gate. Butterfly latches allow the gate to swing in both directions. Butterfly latches are not lockable.

Latches are designed for 1-3/8" gate frames, and are sized by the post size they will be latching to. Size options include 2" (CL-BL-203) and 2-1/2" (CL-BL-253).
