Adjustable Cranked Band Hinges (8295-ACB)
Our Adjustable Cranked Band Hinges are a variation of our Cranked Bands with Pins (#8295) that allow for easy lateral adjustment in case the post or gate shifts/moves.
The Adjustable Cranked Band Hinges are ideal for Wood Gates.
Adjustable Cranked Band Hinge (8295-ACB) Features:- Intended for use on flush mounted, wood gates and doors.
- Available in 12” length only.
- Sold in pairs.
- Forged steel heavy duty straps and pins.
- Available in both Hot Dipped Galvanized or Black (BPPCG) finishes.
- Color matched stainless steel wood screws (2” x #12) included.
- Easy Lateral Adjustment in case the Post or Gate moves (works with 1/8" to 1" gap between Gate and Post)
- Used Mounted Flush with Front of Post
- If installed with both pins up then the gate can be easily removed. Installing one pin down prevents removal of the gate.
- We also carry a matching "Dummy" Hinge Front (#8293) for use on the opposite side of the gate
Please Note: This style of hinge has a loose fit on the pin. This slackness will not be evident when both hinges are mounted.
Please Note: Hinges require that a Carriage Bolt (preferred) or Lag Bolt be utilized on each hinge as shown in this hinge bolt installation diagram. These are not included with the Hinge pairs because the length of bolt required will vary with the installation. Requires 3/8" diameter bolts. You will need bolts 1" longer than the overall thickness of your gate or door.

- If both hinges are installed with the pins facing up, the gate can be easily removed. Installing one hinge with the pin facing down prevents removal of the gate.
