Curved Cranked Bands with Pins (8295-CCB)
Our Curved Crank Bands with Pins have the same attributes as our straight Cranked Bands with Pins (#8295-CB). They are a robust hinge option with a more contemporary styling than many of our other Snug Cottage Signature Hardware products. These hinges are primarily used with curved-top gates or doors (designs that either curve up or bow downward).
This hardware is ideal for use with Wood Gates.
Curved Cranked Bands with Pins (8295-CCB) Features:- A traditional design combined with exceptional strength.
- Similar design to our Cranked Bands with Pins (#8295-CB) but with a Curved Strap
- Intended for wood gates or doors with a curved-top design.
- The pin plate is 1.5" wide x 5-3/8" high.
- Curve has 17" o/c radius.
- From the center of the pin to the end of the bottom strap is 7".
- From the center of the pin to the end of the top strap is 11".
- Sold in sets (top and bottom hinge).
- Forged steel heavy duty straps and pins.
- Available in both Hot Dipped Galvanized or Black (BPPCG) finishes.
- Color matched stainless steel wood screws (2" x #12) included.
- Can Be Flush Mounted or Jamb Mounted
- If Installed with Both Pins Up then the Gate Can Be Removed Easily
Please Note: Hinges require that a Carriage Bolt (preferred) or Lag Bolt be utilized on each hinge as shown in this hinge bolt installation diagram. These are not included with the hinge pairs because the length of bolt required will vary with the installation. Requires 3/8" diameter bolts. You will need bolts 1" longer than the overall thickness of your gate or door.

Installation Template: Top Hinge | Bottom Hinge
- Curved Cranked Band with Pins can be flush mounted or jamb mounted (setback mounted).
- Flush mounting is the most common method of installation. The hinge is mounted directly onto the face of the gate and post. We recommend a minimum 1/4" space be maintained between the gate and post to allow for expansion of the wood in changing seasons.
- Jamb mounting requires the pins be mounted on the side of the post. We recommend a minimum 1/8" space be maintained between the gate and post to allow for expansion of the wood in changing seasons. Please refer to our Installation Details for more information.
