Boston Garden Style Post and Cap (5200-P)
Our Boston Garden Post is a full-size reproduction of the handsome posts and caps that line the walkways of America’s oldest park, the Boston Botanical Garden. Its aluminum construction will ensure that it never rusts and that it will beautify your property for years to come.
The caps are cast in aluminum and secured to the post with two set screws just like the original. The posts are constructed from a heavy aluminum extruded "I" beam that has been notched to accept the chain. Therefore, there is no chance of rust or corrosion. Both the posts and the caps are coated with a high quality black polyester powder coat.
Typically, the 44 inch posts are installed with 24 to 26 inches above ground. The 60 inch posts are installed with 36 to 42 inches above ground. Compatible with 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" Landscape Chain and Victorian Spiked Chain.
For commercial installations we recommend that each post be set in concrete to a depth that will prevent frost heave.

- Ideally used as both a physical and aesthetic barrier for landscaping purposes.
- Posts are notched to accept the chain making installation of the chain easy once the posts are set.
- Compatible with 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" Landscape Chain and Victorian Spiked Chain.
- Caps are secured to the post with 2 set screws (included).
- 44" long posts are typically installed with 24" to 26" above ground.
- 60" long posts are typically installed with 36" to 42" above ground.
- For commercial installations, we recommend that each post be set in concrete to a depth that will prevent frost heave.
- We recommend a 6' on center post spacing for commercial installations.
