Chain Link Fence Gate Drop Rods - Residential Grade

Residential drop rods are used on chain link double/dual swing gates - two gates which latch together in the center. Simply bolt drop rod guides (included) onto gate upright (fits 1-3/8" O.D.) and slide the drop rod into guides to install. Residential chain link drop rods are lockable with padlocks (sold separately). Set screws are preinstalled into drop rods; these allow you to lift the drop rod, pivot rod, and set the drop rod set screw on top of the drop rod guide to 'hold' the drop rod in the 'up' position for easy swinging. Drop rods require a center stop in the ground for the rod to slide into. You may either drive a piece of pipe into the ground, or purchase one of our chain link centerstops.

Drop rods are available in either 36" or 42" lengths. Order accordingly.
