Industry standard tie fits around a post and one fence picket. Ideal for commercial, industrial and military uses.
Easy Twist Fence Ties are the most commonly used pre-shaped fence ties used by installers on large chain link projects and small commercial jobs with 2-inch mesh or larger. They are much faster to use than hook ties and more secure.
The Easy Twist Ties are pre-shaped to fit around a post and one picket without opening the tie. They are available in several gauges and coatings and available for a variety of post and rail sizes.
Easy Twist Ties are fabricated to meet ASTM, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Army Corps of Engineers, Federal Aviation Administration and state and local correctional facility specifications.
Contractors report a 3 to 1 installation advantage over hand tying 9-gauge steel hook ties. The secret is in the wire. Easy Twist Ties are constructed with an easy tensile strength design that easily pinches together and twists with our custom power drill bit tool for quick installation.

The ties shall be a preformed steel wire formed in the shape of the post or rail, while fitting tightly over one picket of the fabric. The two ends shall be power twisted with a tool designed to twist the ends three full twists equivalent to one and one half machine turns. The tie shall be positioned on the post or rail with the twisted end protruding in the same direction parallel to the fence preventing risk of injury to passing personal. The gauge of the wire tie shall be the same as the fabric.
Tie wire shall be the same gauge and coating as the fabric used. The exception is 9 gauge 2 ounce fabric. It will use a 1.8 ounce galvanized coating.
The tie meets ASTM F 626-96a 6.1.2.2 Manually Fastened Round Wire Ties.
