Chain Link Fence J-Bolt Male Gate Hinge

Use J-Bolt Male Hinges when you need more adjustment than a typical hinge allows. Pair J-Bolt Male Hinges with Female Strap Hinges to hang gates. Typically two hinges are required per gate; use three hinges on larger gates. J-Bolt male hinges can be installed on steel, wood, and aluminum posts.

Male J-Bolt Hinges are very versatile as you can use them on square or round gate hinge posts. Simply drill clear through the post and bolt on the hinges with included nuts. Nuts allow for adjustment for a tight fitting gate. These J-bolts are also handy to fix gates which don't fit perfectly since they are adjustable for a perfect fit.

Our chain link female hinges all use 5/8" pins, but some wood and aluminum hinges use a 1/2" pin which could also be paired with the appropriately sized J-Bolt.

Sizes shown are listed as "pin size x length". Please make sure that you choose the pin size that will match the female portion of the hinge you are using. Also, make sure that the length you choose is long enough to extend all the way through your post.
