PreTied Chain Link Fence Post Ties - Steel

Chain link fence post ties are used to secure chain link fabric to posts and horizontal rails. Use these 11, or 9 gauge galvanized steel class III 1.2 oz. ties for heavy duty applications for more strength over aluminum chain link fence post ties. Use steel chain link fence post tie wires in commercial and industrial applications such as self-storage facilities, security fence installations, zoos and other animal containment applications. Steel fence tie wires are also often specified for use on sporting complexes, baseball and softball backstops, sideline fences, and homerun fences. Order 2" post ties for 2" posts (1-7/8" O.D. actual), 2-1/2" ties for 2-1/2" posts (2-3/8" O.D. actual) and 3" ties for 3" posts. Use the same amount of ties per post as tension bands per hook-up, or at intervals of approximately 14". This is typically one less than the height of fence installed; a 4' high fence has three tie wires per line post spaced evenly, a 5' high fence has four tie wires per line post and so forth. Top rail usually has five ties wires between each line post, averaging one tie every two feet.
