Hoover Fence Company’s Single Track Aluminum Slide Gate Kits are designed to provide smooth, dependable sliding gate operation for commercial, industrial, and residential access control applications. Often referred to as top-track cantilever gates, these black aluminum slide gates offer a durable and low-maintenance solution for securing driveways, storage yards, commercial entrances, and perimeter fence openings.

The single track cantilever design is engineered for openings up to 30 feet wide while maintaining reliable gate movement and structural stability. For larger openings, two single track gate kits may be combined with minor modifications to secure openings up to approximately 60 feet wide. For applications beyond this size range, double track cantilever gate systems are generally recommended.

Unlike traditional rolling gates that rely on ground tracks, cantilever slide gates operate using enclosed overhead track systems and trolley assemblies. This design helps reduce issues caused by snow, dirt, mud, gravel, and debris buildup while also protecting the trolley hardware from direct weather exposure.

These gates are commonly used in conjunction with automatic slide gate operators and access control systems, making them an excellent choice for properties requiring controlled entry and dependable long-term operation. The included heavy-duty hardware package is designed to support smooth gate performance in high-use environments.

Custom gate configurations are available for many common chain link fence heights including 3', 3-1/2', 4', and 5'. Additional custom widths and heights may also be available upon request.

Ordering Notes:

The listed gate sizes represent the clear opening widths these gates are designed to secure. Cantilever gate systems include a counterbalance section that may measure up to 50% of the opening width. In most applications, approximately 1.5 times the opening width must be available in the direction of travel for the gate to fully open.

Gate frames are manufactured slightly shorter than the listed fence height to allow proper hardware installation and alignment with surrounding fence sections.

Barbed wire is not included with these gate kits. If barbed wire is required, compatible barbed wire gate kits and accessories may be purchased separately.
