Details

The D-6045 Superior Surface Mount Exit Bar Kit includes the parts to mount a Detex V40 Value Series panic bar to a chain link or ornamental gate.

This kit allows for free exit/egress with keyed access from the outside of the gate.

D-6045 Surface Mount Exit Bar - Superior Kit Includes:

Detex D-6003 (36") or D-6004 (48") surface mount exit bar. (#D-6003 or D-6004)
Mounting plate, Adjusts for 32" to 54" gate frame. - 12" High (#D-6900) or 24" High (#D-6700)
Adjustable Receiver bracket for 3" O.D. (outside diameter) post (2-7/8" actual). (#D-6020)
Lock box for external access. (#D-6025)
Keyed cylinder with two keys. (#D-6014)
Pre-drilled holes for exit bar.
Stainless Steel tek-screws and fasteners.

Here is a picture from our customer Matthew over in Norristown, Pennsylvania, of a black metal gate he installed and outfitted with our D-6045-B36 Panic Bar Kit. The gate was first covered in a black expanded metal for added security, then out panic bar plate, bar, and receiver were added to provide free exit from the property.
