This Key Locking Stainless Steel Drop Rod adds the key locking convenience and security needed on all types of gates and is especially useful for driveway gates. Use these drop rods on practically any type of gate or door, i.e. wood, aluminum, ornamental iron, and steel. Drop rods are used on double driveway-type gates to secure them together in the center where they meet. Drop rods are constructed of 300 series stainless steel and low-maintenance, glass-filled nylon making this unit a perfect choice for high quality gates that require added security. Designed with multiple set-points on the rod itself, this drop rod can be "set" to a comfortable height when in the unlocked position. This feature keeps the drop rod from dragging the ground and protects the driveway and latch from damage. Drop rods are keyed alike.
